Chief Ajewole has been re-elected as the President-General of the apex Ibadan socio-cultural association, alongside other members of the executive council. They have been entrusted with the mandate to continue leading the association for another two-year term.
In a congratulatory message conveyed by his media aides, Oseni expressed that the re-election of the Ajewole-led team is a testament to the trust and confidence Ibadan indigenes, both at home and in the diaspora, have in their leadership.
He commended the leadership of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) for its steadfast commitment to the progress, unity, and cultural development of Ibadanland, and expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would further elevate the association’s impact.
“The re-election of Chief Ajewole and his team is a clear recognition of their exceptional performance during their previous term and a reaffirmation of their ability to continue advancing the interests of Ibadan indigenes. I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a more impactful tenure,” he remarked.
The lawmaker also reassured the CCII of his unwavering support for any initiative aimed at fostering the development of Ibadanland and preserving its rich cultural heritage.
The CCII remains instrumental in mobilising Ibadan sons and daughters for the socio-economic advancement of the ancient city and beyond.
