Honourable Engineer Dr. Aderemi Abass oseni is the chairman and managing director of Step Developments Limited, a highly experienced, innovative and results-driven civil engineering manager and business leader, demonstrating a successful and progressing career within construction, structural design and projects management at the highest level.
He is an inspirational leader, possessing a wealth of transferable skills, including outstanding senior leadership skills, meticulous attention to details, and a strong focus on utilizing existing and emerging engineering solutions to enable business growth. He is articulate and proactive, at the same time exceptional in professional skills and communicative abilities to build positive and lasting relationships with team members, clients and key partners.
A valuable and authoritative all-round personality with a natural aptitude for management, who demands excellence from himself and also brings out the best in others around him.
Engineer Dr. Aderemi Abass Oseni is a graduate of civil engineering. He also obtained a master’s degree in structural engineering with distinction from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, and a doctoral degree in engineering and projects management from the European Institute of Technology.
He has worked on a broad range of structural design and construction projects across the nation. Some of them include:
- The Oyo State Ministry of Works and Housing.
- The Enugu State Ministry of Works and Housing.
- The design of the 80-meter span River Bridge in Enugu.
- The Ebony River Bridge at Abakaliki.
Furthermore, he worked with Ace Heights and Construction Company Limited, where he was involved in many construction projects, such as:
- Princess Faye Water Factory at Agbara
- Five Star Resort Hotel in Delta State
He is currently an entrepreneur and oversees all construction activities at Step Development Limited. His managerial style and successful experience across numerous models give his clients a competitive advantage by ensuring that they obtain the best standard.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria. He is a member of the London Institute of Engineers and Technicians, the Nigerian Association of Technological Engineers, and also the Engineering Council of London. He is also a National Excellence for Abroad winner.
Honourable Oseni journey into politics after 35 years of remarkable successes in his businesses and ministerial calling is people-driven. It is driven by his undying desire to change the narrative, making impactful contributions to nation-building and providing alternative and credible leadership that inspires youth for a better tomorrow. By the grace of God, Dr. Aderebi Oseni is currently a member of the House of Representatives.
